Caravan and Camping, Britain and Ireland is the AA’s 2012 guide to camping in the UK. The book features over 900 campsites inspected by the AA with everything from small quiet locations to large holiday camps. Also the book details useful information such as opening dates, prices, facilities and walks / cycle routes.
The book is rated 4 out of 5 stars on Amazon, several users saying it is fantastic, but a few giving helpful tips -
This book was more descriptive (than the caravan and camping club book) but did not really have many sites in any one area
Fantastic!!!! This book gives in depth guides on hundreds of campsites throughout the UK.
There is also an AA card at the back of the book which offers you £1 per night off site fees at some of the featured sites.
There are hardly any sites for Ireland in it at all but to be honest, I think all of Ireland is still in the process of opening up to mass tourism and this has historic reasons.
